    Founded in 640 AD (the 9th year of Queen Seondeok of Silla), Magoksa Temple is the head temple of the 6th district of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism. Originally a large temple complex of over 30 buildings, it still has the Daeungbojeon, Daegwangbojeon, Yeongsanjeon, Sacheonwangmun, Haetalmun, and a five-story pagoda and a temple bell, all designated as national treasures. Magoksa offers a temple stay program, and more information can be found on the temple's English page at http://www.magoksa.or.kr/.
