  As you follow the March 1st Independence Movement mural from Cheongna Hill toward the inner parking lot, the path leads to the March 1st Independence Movement Road. The 90-step staircase, covered in ivy vines, was the starting point (secret passage) of the independence movement that took place in Daegu at Seomun Market on market days. Photos from that time are displayed on the walls of the Daegu Jeil Church next to the 90 steps.
