  Buildings such as the old Pangyo Station, which was part of the Janghang Line and was built during the 1930s in the era of Japanese colonial rule for the purposes of food exploitation and forced labor, still remain preserved. Other preserved structures include the old Pangyo cattle market street, which was once called one of the three major cattle markets in Chungcheongnam-do, Dongil Brewery, which is built in the style of a Japanese house, and the Pangyo Theater.
