    LOCATION DESCRIPTION

Built in 1946 by North Korea’s Workers' Party of Korea, this building served as the Cheorwon branch of the Workers' Party. Due to intense combat in the area during the war, bullet holes, artillery shell marks, and tank tread imprints remain on the building. It is one of the symbolic structures that represent the Korean War and the division of the Korean Peninsula.
